The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Osun State has responded to the alleged leaked consensus list from the All Progressives Congress (APC). State Chairman Sunday Bisi characterized it as evidence of confusion and desperation within the opposition party.
PDP leadership stated the list confirms APC’s adherence to imposition politics. They contrasted this with Governor Ademola Adeleke’s people-oriented governance. The party emphasized upcoming elections will hinge on performance rather than propaganda.
“Osun citizens distinguish between hardship and hope,” the PDP declared. “Having experienced both parties, they stand with PDP’s governance model. Our IMOLE initiative restored dignity to state leadership.”
The party described its support as emotionally rooted in public trust. Governor Adeleke’s accessibility and humility reportedly resonate across communities. Teachers, farmers, market traders, and civil servants allegedly endorse the administration.
PDP highlighted salary regularity and pension reforms as key achievements. “Workers now receive payments promptly with restored public service respect. Citizens can plan lives confidently again,” the statement noted.
Dismissing APC’s list as “recycled deceit,” PDP welcomed the opposition’s move. They asserted Osun residents remember previous disappointments. The state will not revert to “years of waste,” they vowed.
Reaffirming election readiness, PDP credited unity and performance for their confidence. “Victory in 2026/2027 will reflect public conviction, not politicking. Osun rejects a return to sorrowful governance,” the statement concluded.
