The Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) has announced a schedule change for Matchday 18, moving the Nasarawa United versus Barau FC fixture from Sunday, December 21 to Tuesday, December 23, 2025. The match will still kick off at 4 p.m. at Lafia City Stadium.
This marks the first-ever NPFL meeting between these clubs. Second-placed Nasarawa United (31 points) enters the match unbeaten in their last two league games. Barau FC (19 points) faces a crucial relegation battle from their current position in the drop zone.
Enyimba’s Tactical Adjustment
Enyimba coach Lawrence Ukaegbu has revealed plans for tactical changes ahead of their clash with El-Kanemi Warriors at El-Kanemi Sports Centre. The nine-time champions currently sit eighth with 23 points after two wins in their last three matches.
“We’ll change our formation against El-Kanemi,” Ukaegbu stated to Enyimba media. “I won’t reveal details, but we’ve studied their approach.”
