In a video posted on her Instagram page, Nkechi Blessing recounted an encounter with a UK-based man. He reached out to her after a period of silence. Unknown to him, she had just been involved in a minor car accident. Two of her car tyres were damaged.

When she informed him about the incident, his response was brief. He only asked if she was fine, then ended the chat. Nkechi felt his reply lacked genuine effort and concern.

She believes a man serious about building a relationship should not ignore moments to show care. The actress clarified that she wasn’t asking for financial help. However, she expected him to offer support or at least express deeper concern.

Nkechi Blessing eventually handled the tyre replacement herself. Hours later, the man messaged her again, asking if the issue was resolved. She simply told him she had already bought two new tyres.

She contrasted this experience with how a male friend in Abuja treated her. Nkechi mentioned having work in the city. Her Abuja friend immediately offered to cover her hotel arrangements.

Even when she tried to manage it herself, he insisted on taking care of the booking. She described this gesture as an example of genuine care. It showcased how a truly caring man behaves.

Nkechi explained that she values her independence greatly. Yet, she believes a man should still show effort when it truly matters. For her, it is not about relying on someone. It is about knowing the person is willing to act and be supportive when needed.

The popular actress concluded her video by stating her stance clearly. She has no interest in dating any man who cannot demonstrate the ability to look after her. She further added that she is currently single and exploring conversations with more than one person.
