Mbah Amarachi Kama, a Nigerian woman, has generated significant buzz online. She publicly refuted a pastor’s claim. The cleric stated he miraculously healed her mother of 36 years of deafness.
This controversy started on Saturday, December 6. Popular cleric Sign Fireman posted photos. They were from his “Umuahia Big Miracle Invasion” program.
Pastor’s Miracle Claim
In his post, the pastor described meeting Amarachi’s mother. He asserted she could not hear with her left ear for 36 years. He claimed immediate healing occurred during the service.
Amarachi quickly refuted this testimony in the comments. Her response gained massive attention. Social media users debated the pastor’s claim authenticity.
The pastor’s post featured images of the woman during ministration. It stated she suffered left-ear deafness for decades. He reported a miraculous hearing restoration.
The pastor proclaimed, “Instantly healed of 36 years deafness!”
His post continued, “DAY 1, UMUAHIA BIG MIRACLE INVASION — WITH SIGN FIREMAN. Details: The deafness affected the left ear.”
Daughter Debunks Miracle Claim
Amarachi commented, expressing shock at the pastor’s claim. She identified the woman as her mother. Amarachi stated her mother was never deaf. She then wrote:
“36 years of deafness? This is my mother. She is not and has never been deaf. Please, let’s be accurate,” she stated.
She clarified her mother sought prayer for temporary left ear pain. Her mother never claimed deafness.
“For further clarification,” Amarachi added. “My mother only came out for prayer due to temporary left ear pain. She never complained of deafness. She took no money to fake anything. My mother is unaware of this post’s caption. I request the page handler to correct or remove it swiftly.”
