A troubling clip circulating online has ignited strong reactions after a Nigerian woman was allegedly detained for using shredded Bible sheets to roll marijuana.
In the widely shared video, the lady, wearing a vibrant attire and a white headscarf, is shown holding what looks like marijuana wrapped in pages supposedly ripped from a holy book, as an off‑camera voice interrogates her.
Throughout the conversation, she freely confessed to the behavior and seemed indifferent to the criticism directed at her.
“I take pride in what I’m using,” she remarked.
When questioned about whether she was consuming the drug, she replied, “Yes, to pray!”
The person filming stated that she had previously gone through rehab after officials allegedly took her two children away due to worries about her psychological state.
He said she displayed improvement after therapy and supposedly vowed to quit marijuana before being permitted to go back home.
Nevertheless, he contended that she recently fell back into old habits and was once more discovered using marijuana encased in torn Scripture pages.
“She rips a piece of the Bible, wraps the weed inside it, and that’s what she’s smoking,” he remarked in the footage.
The commentator added that she earlier created a disturbance close to a school gate, leading worried bystanders to step in.
