The doctor, identified as Onyedika Justice on Facebook, expressed deep sadness. He specifically mentioned shedding tears over his projected salary deductions for the upcoming year.
His widely shared post generated significant buzz. In it, he asserted that the new tax reforms would effectively curb tribalism in Nigeria. “I just checked my tax starting from next year, I just burst cry,” he wrote. “All this tribalism will end next year. Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa, everyone will pay tax.”
