Ned Nwoko, the lawmaker representing Delta North at the National Assembly, has dismissed claims. He denied seeking reconciliation with his estranged wife, Nollywood actress Regina Daniels.
Regina Daniels had suggested a potential reunion. Her colleague, Doris Ogala, also supported this claim on Instagram.
However, Mr. Nwoko released a statement through his communication lead. He denied any recent chats with Regina. He stated firmly that he does not want her back in his home.
Mr. Nwoko also refuted Regina’s allegations of drug abuse and sexual misconduct against him. He called these claims false and impossible to substantiate.
The Senator linked Regina Daniels’ recent social media activity to the ongoing influence of hard drugs.
He explained their last WhatsApp conversation. It revealed his frustration and an ultimatum. He told her to return to rehabilitation or he would stop funding her lifestyle.
After receiving this message, Regina reportedly became violent. She subsequently destroyed cars and other properties.
Mr. Nwoko also mentioned a video Regina posted online. The clip showed him in the bathroom. He expressed shock that this private footage appeared on social media.
The Senator further stated that Regina’s rehabilitation was progressing well. However, during her birthday, she allegedly used hard drugs with friends for four days. This incident reportedly disrupted her recovery process.
