Fulham head coach, Marco Silva, has challenged Samuel Chukwueze to sustain his strong work ethic. This advice comes as the Nigerian winger eyes a permanent move to Craven Cottage.
Chukwueze is currently on loan from Serie A giants AC Milan. He is yet to start a Premier League match for the Whites. However, the loan agreement includes an option to buy the Nigerian international. This deal is valued at approximately €23 million.
Despite his limited starting opportunities, Chukwueze has made an impact. He has provided two assists in just five league appearances.
Silva on Chukwueze’s Future
“It’s too early to say for sure,” Silva stated. He spoke ahead of Fulham’s London derby against Tottenham Hotspur. “But we all recognize the quality Chukwueze possesses.”

Silva emphasized the need for consistency. “We want to see consistency in his performance. He must train well every single day. Also, he needs to adapt to the physical demands of the Premier League.”
The coach’s comments highlight the path forward for the talented winger. Chukwueze must prove his readiness for English top-flight football. Only then can he secure a long-term future with Fulham.
