Nollywood actor and online personality, Adams Kehinde, popularly known as Lege Miami, has voiced his dissatisfaction regarding his friendship with Seyi Tinubu, son of Nigeria’s President. He described the relationship as largely one-sided.
Lege Miami stated that this association has significantly impacted his finances and peace of mind. He explained that individuals frequently approach him with various requests, problems, and expectations, solely due to his perceived connection with Seyi Tinubu.
The actor clarified that while Seyi Tinubu does check on him from time to time, the majority of the burden stems from outsiders. These individuals wrongly assume Lege Miami has direct access to resources and influence through the President’s son.
Expressing his frustration, Lege Miami candidly stated, “I don’t enjoy Seyi as a friend at all. I have used all my matchmaking money dealing with matters simply because I am Seyi Tinubu’s friend. He only calls me once in a while to ask if I’m okay.”
This frustration follows a recent incident where Lege Miami claimed he was edited out of a special video documentary. The documentary was produced to mark Seyi Tinubu’s 40th birthday anniversary.
In a widely circulated video, Lege Miami accused Seyi Tinubu’s handlers of removing his segment from the documentary. He attributed this removal to his perceived poor command of English.
Despite his disappointment, Lege Miami maintained that Seyi Tinubu was not to blame for the situation. He admitted that his own difficulty in expressing himself fluently in English contributed to the decision.
