Nigerian singer Jaywon has shared his perspective on the ongoing discussion about actress Regina Daniels’ marriage to businessman Ned Nwoko.
In his commentary, the “This Year” crooner emphasized that life choices such as marrying for money, becoming a second wife, or staying in an abusive relationship come with consequences that individuals must be prepared to face.
He stated: “DO WHAT YOU WANT. MARRY FOR MONEY, BE A SECOND WIFE, STAY WITH AN ABUSER. IT’S YOUR LIFE. BUT DON’T ACT SURPRISED WHEN THE CONSEQUENCES ARRIVE. CHOICES HAVE COSTS, AND YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOURS.”
Meanwhile, Nigerian politician Prince Kpokpogri has criticized those who are publicly celebrating the marital issues between Regina Daniels and her husband Senator Ned Nwoko.
In a post on Instagram, Kpokporgi described such behavior as “unfortunate,” lamenting that many Nigerians take pleasure in spreading negative news, especially concerning the private lives of public figures.
Kpokpogri referenced his own highly publicized fallout with actress Tonto Dikeh, noting that people similarly rejoiced over their crisis at the time. He mentioned that both of them have since reconciled and moved on with their lives.
The politician said the same behavior is now being directed at the Nwoko household, showing how public figures often face unwarranted scrutiny during personal challenges.
