Addressing the rumors on Instagram, Ojo declared: “To all rumor mongers spreading fake news about me, it shall not be well with you.” She criticized those exploiting her name for traffic and financial gain, stating their actions caused unnecessary panic among her supporters.
“Your fake news worries my fans who flood my phone with concern calls,” Ojo continued. “You heap curses on yourselves. Anyone wishing me harm will have it returned.”

The actress’s statement comes amid ongoing legal proceedings against blogger VeryDarkMan. He faces re-arraignment for alleged cyberbullying targeting Ojo, Tonto Dikeh, and others. Ojo accuses him of spreading misinformation to generate online engagement.

Ojo clarified her involvement in a WhatsApp group formed after singer Mohbad’s death. Contrary to claims of secrecy, she stated the collective focused on:
- Demanding justice investigations
- Pushing for body exhumation and autopsy
- Ensuring proper burial arrangements
The actress emphasized transparency in her legal petitions. She clarified she participated as a witness, not an instigator of criminal cases. Nigeria Police have officially denied issuing any arrest declaration for Ojo.
