Ice Prince Reveals ₦340 Million Weed Expense
Nigerian rapper Ice Prince Zamani spoke candidly on the Black Box podcast about his past struggle with substance use and the staggering cost it incurred.
He disclosed that between 2020 and 2026 he spent approximately ₦340 million on marijuana from a single dealer based in Lagos.
The artist noted that this figure does not include purchases from other suppliers in Abuja, Jos, Ghana, or London, emphasizing that the Lagos connection was just one of many.
Ice Prince said he has since quit smoking and alcohol as part of a broader weight‑loss and self‑discovery initiative.
He also revealed that he has been celibate for a period, describing these lifestyle changes as a personal reset.
Addressing rumours, the Oleku hitmaker denied using Ozempic or any drugs to shed weight, insisting his transformation came from discipline alone.
Looking ahead, Ice Prince hinted that his upcoming album may be his final release, signalling a possible retirement from music.
Regarding marriage, he said he intends to settle down once he turns 40, which is about three years away, but added that he is currently focused on chasing his goals rather than searching for a partner.
