Popular Nigerian rapper Ice Prince Zamani has issued a stern warning to single men. He advises them to carefully consider marriage, especially due to societal pressures. The artist highlighted the significant responsibilities and challenges tied to marital life.
Speaking via an Instagram post, Ice Prince urged men nearing 40 to evaluate their lives thoroughly. He stressed this introspection before making a lifelong commitment. The rapper revealed a personal anecdote: a friend who married in 2024 is already struggling. This friend reportedly no longer answers his wife’s calls and wishes to exit the union.
Ice Prince shared his concern. He wrote, “These days na everyday dem dey scare us about this marriage union of a thing… My guy wey just marry 2024 no dey answer wife call again and wants out.” He then asked single men approaching 40 about their current perspectives on marriage. He also advised, “My brother check yourself properly before you tell person daughter or another man sister say ‘you want to be the head coach in her life oo’.” He emphasized self-reflection: “Cleanse yourself first, look yourself well and tell yourself the truth first my brother.”

Beyond his marriage advice, Ice Prince also spoke about his recent weight loss journey. He explained that close friends, Chopstix and Dami, encouraged him to work on his body. The rapper admitted he was “literally about to explode.”
He clarified that he had no underlying sickness, attributing his weight to “bad habits and choices.” However, his friends’ motivation was a significant spark. “From that meeting,” Ice Prince recalled, “my brother Chopstix started coming to my house every day after dinner.” They would then walk his estate for an hour. He values their conversations during those walks immensely.
