Nollywood actress Etinosa Idemudia has declared she is unaffected by criticisms regarding her Brazilian Butt Surgery (BBL) and liposuction. The movie star recently shared her thoughts on the matter.
In an interview with TheCable, Idemudia stated that her detractors are hypocrites. She believes they desire the same procedure but cannot afford it.
“The feedback has been mixed; both praise and backlash,” she explained. “I focus more on the positive reactions. I disregard criticism from people who lack exposure to understand the benefits of body enhancement.”
Idemudia affirmed that future enhancement plans would not be deterred by current negativity. “I feel deep pity for those who have been criticizing me. They are simply backward in their thinking,” she added.
The actress drew a comparison to technological advancements. She noted that new developments always encounter skepticism. Some individuals project uninformed concerns and fears onto others.
“I recall the Ebola period. There was much misinformation, like advice to drink salt. Body enhancement faces similar challenges,” she recounted. “People have not researched it. Those who know keep it secret. This makes it hard for interested individuals to get proper information. Unfortunately, some fall into the wrong hands, leading to complications.”
She urged her critics to educate themselves. “Many critics are just hypocrites. They want these procedures but cannot afford them, so they demonize them,” Idemudia asserted.
“Everyone has insecurities. This is not caused by social media; it’s part of life. We all strive to improve ourselves and our situations. We should be grateful for modern technology,” she advised.
Idemudia also reflected on her past struggles. “If you knew what my stomach looked like before, how embarrassed I sometimes felt, you would understand. Despite mockery, my strong self-worth prevented it from bothering me. I wore whatever I wanted.”
She concluded, “Since I now have the financial means to improve it, I will do so.”
The actress further challenged the validity of her critics. “Those criticizing me wear wigs, artificial nails, and have microblading. They have no right to criticize someone for cosmetic surgery,” she argued.
“I believe critics should read more. I am not even finished enhancing my body,” she concluded defiantly.
