Recalling Childhood: From Primary School to NYSC Service
The young corps member, known on TikTok as @lightwave_art, shared a video. It captured this heartfelt reunion.
He stated that their friendship started during primary school. Over a decade passed. Life had led them down separate paths, causing a long disconnection.
A Familiar Face in an Unfamiliar Setting
The reunion happened among many other corps members. This occurred at the busy NYSC camp.
The corps member shared his astonishment in the video caption:
“NYSC brought me back together with my primary school friend after 15 years. I was in a strange environment. Many strangers surrounded me. I wondered how someone knew my surname. He kept calling it. I looked up. Then, boom! Fifteen years, that’s incredible. I was walking. I heard my surname. I thought, ‘Who would know me here?’ I decided to look. I saw my friend. I almost cried. In primary school, we only used surnames.”
The moment brimmed with shock and pure joy. The friends embraced, instantly reviving their childhood memories. They recalled their primary school days.
