Former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai has urged residents of Zamfara State to join the African Democratic Congress (ADC). He emphasized this as a strategic solution to address rising security issues and economic hardship. El-Rufai stressed that collective action through the ADC offers the best path forward.
The former governor appealed for unity among party members. He cautioned against actions that could undermine ADC’s progress. Collaboration with youth and women’s groups was highlighted as crucial. This partnership aims to deepen awareness of ADC’s grassroots programs.
El-Rufai also encouraged residents to prepare their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs). This preparation is vital for the upcoming 2027 general elections. Civic participation remains key to driving meaningful change.
ADC’s Deputy National Organising Secretary Abubakar Atiku welcomed El-Rufai’s visit. He described it as boosting internal cooperation and stability in Zamfara. The endorsement strengthens ongoing party consolidation efforts.
State ADC Chairman Alhaji Kabiru Garba noted widespread participation. Youths and women from all 14 local government areas attended the event. Garba confirmed the party’s continuous growth and expanding supporter base.
The gathering included local politicians, Islamic scholars, and community stakeholders. Attendees unanimously endorsed ADC’s plans for security enhancement. They also supported economic revival and inclusive governance initiatives.
