Renowned Nigerian rapper, Eedris Abdulkareem, has publicly described his marriage as a truly divine arrangement.
The 51-year-old music star firmly believes that God specifically prepared his wife for him. He stated it would be foolish to allow another woman to bear a child for him.

A Union Forged by Destiny and Sacrifice
The ‘Mr Lecturer’ hitmaker highlighted the divine nature of their union. He pointed to their two decades together as proof.
He particularly recalled how his wife donated one of her kidneys to save his life. This act solidified his commitment even further.
Eedris shared details of their journey. “I met my wife on September 18, 2003,” he began. “We married on December 11, 2004.”
He further explained his actions are guided by divine instruction. “Twenty years after our marriage, God told me, ‘I am not done with you yet.'”
He believes he had a covenant with God. “Twenty-one years later, God showed me why my prayers were answered.”
The rapper stressed, “God gave me my own wife, not another person’s wife.” He then expressed, “Why would I be so unwise as to allow another woman to bear a child for me?”
His Candid Stance on Polygamy
Eedris acknowledged cultural and religious permissions for polygamy. “Truly, we are Africans,” he noted. “Polygamy is allowed in our nature.”
He continued, “Islam also permits marrying multiple women if you can love them equally.” However, he urged for honesty on the matter.
“Let us be very sincere,” he said. “It is not possible to love women equally. You can only truly love one woman.”
He then offered a piece of advice. “As men, we possess wisdom,” Eedris stated.
“If you wish to live a long life, ensure only one woman bears all your children.” He reiterated this point for a fulfilling existence. “For a sweet life, commit to one woman,” he advised.
