Former Edo State Governor Godwin Obaseki has made serious allegations. He claims his successor, Governor Monday Okpebholo, orchestrated an assault. This alleged incident occurred recently in Manchester, United Kingdom.
Obaseki stated in a widely shared video that government-paid individuals confronted him abroad. They also reportedly assaulted members of his team. He issued a firm warning. “Violence initiated will be met with equal force,” Obaseki declared. “I will not stand idly by. I will fight back.”

Yet, officials reportedly requested sitting allowances before reviewing it. “I delivered a thorough transition document,” Obaseki recounted. “My aim was to preserve my efforts. I suggested forming a joint transition committee. Instead, they requested sitting allowances. This was for simply reviewing the documents.”
