The Edo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has unanimously expressed confidence in Governor Monday Okpebholo’s leadership. Party officials praised his dedication to repositioning the APC and driving development in Edo State.
This endorsement extends to State Chairman Emperor Jarret Tenebe and Secretary Engr. Lawrence Okah. The State Working Committee acknowledged their vital contributions to party stability.
Disciplinary Reviews Conducted
During recent proceedings, the APC lifted suspensions against Hon. Valentine Asue and Oredo Ward 10 Woman Leader Stella Ogbetta. However, Mallam Adamu Ototobor’s suspension remains active. The Etsako East Local Government Ward 9 Chairman faces ongoing review.
Call for Party Unity
In an official statement signed by Publicity Secretary Barr. Peter Uwadiae-Igbinigie, the committee urged members to maintain discipline. They emphasized adherence to party principles across all levels.
The APC leadership stressed that collective action remains essential for electoral success. They reaffirmed commitment to internal democracy and statewide party stability.
“We call on all members to strengthen the APC as a united political family,” the statement concluded.
