Popular Nigerian gospel artist Dunsin Oyekan has issued a powerful spiritual caution. He urged Nigerians, especially young people, to carefully spend the year’s remaining days. Oyekan specifically warned against what he termed “Oblee” activities.
Oyekan Cautions Youth: Avoid “Dirty December”
The gospel minister spoke during a recent ministration. He cautioned against excessive partying and carefree celebrations. These activities are common during the period often called “Detty December.”
He explained that such engagements during this sensitive year-end phase could have serious spiritual repercussions.
“Do not waste the remaining days of the year on oblee,” Oyekan stated. “Detty December, do not go and dirty your December.”
He called this period a vital spiritual moment. Taking a “spiritual vacation” now is risky, he stressed. “You think I do not know what oblee is? Do not go and oblee December and oblee your destiny,” he added.

He emphasized staying connected to God. He noted that clarity and guidance flow from His presence.
