Popular Nigerian On-Air Personality (OAP) Oladotun Ojuolape Kayode, widely known as Do2dtun, recently voiced concerns about rising insecurity across the nation.
In a recent post on his X handle, Do2dtun suggested that the ongoing security challenges are not random. Instead, he believes they are carefully structured.
He argued that the boldness and organization seen nationwide are telling. The widespread destruction points to involvement from individuals. These people, he added, have deep insight into Nigeria’s internal systems.
Do2dtun stated, “These issues are clearly orchestrated by people within the system. They are too structured. The audacity, the impunity, the scale of damage, and the confidence to destroy are all alarming. Someone who knows this system inside out is responsible.”
Atiku Calls for State of Emergency Amid Abductions
In a related development, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has called for an immediate state of emergency on insecurity. This followed another mass abduction of schoolchildren. The incident took place at St. Mary’s Primary and Secondary School. This school is located in Papiri, Agwara Local Government Area of Niger State.
Reacting last Friday on his X handle, Atiku described these repeated kidnappings as both devastating and unacceptable.
“Not again. This is truly heartbreaking,” he wrote. He questioned, “How many more lives must be shattered before decisive action is taken?”
Atiku emphasized, “It is not too late for the government to declare a state of emergency on insecurity. They must confront this menace with the urgency it deserves.”
