A music enthusiast named ABEFE on X (formerly Twitter) has called for the dismissal of David Adeleke’s manager, Asa. This follows Asa’s recent sharing of his top songs and artists of the year.
Asa’s personal playlist did not feature any songs by Davido. Instead, it showcased artists like MGK, Justin Bieber, and Ryan Leslie.
This exclusion sparked controversy among fans and the public. ABEFE publicly criticized the manager’s selections.
Online Reaction to the Manager’s Playlist
Responding to the playlist, ABEFE called for Asa’s immediate dismissal. He expressed his strong opinion on X.
He stated, “If I’m Davido today, I will sack Asaasika, he’s not worthy to be his manager… ika ni Bobo yen… he doesn’t love working with David.”
His comment initiated extensive discussions on social media. Many users debated if a manager should primarily promote their artist’s music.
ABEFE’s initial tweet also included a video clip. It showed the manager’s controversial playlist selections, fueling the online discussion.
