Popular Nigerian gospel singer Damilare Odunuga, known professionally as Dare Melody, has shared an emotional tribute honoring his late wife Adedoyin Odunuga. The heartfelt remembrance comes one year after her passing.
Melody described his wife as the cornerstone of their family. He expressed how her absence continues to create a profound void in their lives.

Life After Loss
Adedoyin passed away in October 2024. Her burial occurred in Eruwen, Ikorodu, Lagos. Family, friends and gospel colleagues attended the ceremony.
Since her death, Dare Melody has openly discussed his grief. He shares the emotional toll of continuing without his partner. The singer also reveals the challenges of single parenthood.
Previously, Melody disclosed personal struggles his wife endured. These included pressures from certain extended family members during her lifetime.
