Tia Billinger, an adult content creator, is known professionally as Bonnie Blue. She is set to be deported from Indonesia. Authorities confirmed on Friday that she was found guilty of immigration offenses.

The 26-year-old British social media star was detained in Bali. This was part of a high-profile investigation. She was ultimately cleared of violating Indonesia’s strict anti-pornography laws.

Police raided a production studio in Bali. Billinger was among 34 people detained there. This followed an investigation into suspected pornographic activity.

Pornography production is strictly prohibited in Muslim-majority Indonesia. It carries severe penalties. Offenders face up to 12 years in prison and $360,000 in fines. Yet, investigators found no evidence the group produced indecent material.

Instead, Billinger will be removed from the country. The reason is an immigration offense. She was working as a content creator on a tourist visa. This violates Indonesian law.

She was also found guilty of a minor traffic offense. A fine of Rp 200,000 was imposed. This is approximately $12 or £9.

She is scheduled to leave Indonesia. Her flight is set for just after midnight local time.

Immigration officials expect to issue a statement. It will address their request to blacklist her. This would prevent her from re-entering Indonesia.

The Investigation Details

Badung Police Chief M. Arif Batubara confirmed details. Witnesses claimed they gathered for an “entertainment-themed reality show.” They stated “no indecent material was produced.” However, the investigation’s focus shifted to visa misuse.

Police stated Billinger and three other foreign nationals were involved. They had “dominant roles” in the production. These individuals are suspected of “misusing their stay permits.” This allowed them to work on commercial content.

Investigators reviewed the purchase of a pickup truck. It was branded with “Bonnie Blue” and “Bang Bus.” Individuals were questioned about Indonesia’s pornography ban. They reportedly confirmed they knew it was illegal.
