Governor Hope Uzodimma, who chairs the Progressive Governors Forum (PGF), has reassured members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) that the party remains united despite growing concerns about a potential extension of tenure for executive committees nationwide.
Through his Chief Press Secretary, Hon. Oguwuike Nwachuku, Governor Uzodimma emphasized that the APC remains committed to protecting the interests and aspirations of Nigerians at both state and national levels.
He stated that the matter of tenure for the current executives would be addressed collectively when the time is right.
“As a responsible and responsive party, we believe in mutual dialogue. This issue will be deliberated on appropriately. Be rest assured, when we get to the bridge, we will cross it,” he said.
Governor Uzodimma further stressed that the APC operates as a unified family, making decisions that prioritize the best interests of its members and all Nigerians.
According to the PGF Chairman, the tenure of incumbent executives will not be determined by speculation but through thorough consultation within the party leadership.
