The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced new dates for its crucial National Caucus and National Executive Committee (NEC) meetings. These key party gatherings were initially scheduled for December 15 and 16, 2025.
According to the party’s statement, the National Caucus meeting will now take place on Thursday, December 18, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. The NEC meeting has been rescheduled for Friday, December 19, 2025, at 3:00 p.m.
The APC’s announcement did not provide specific reasons for the shift in dates. However, it confirmed that both high-level meetings would be held at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
All members are formally invited to attend these meetings. This aligns with Articles 12.3 and 13.3 of the APC Constitution. These articles clearly define the composition and functions of these important party organs.
The National Caucus comprises several prominent figures within the party. Its members include the President and Vice President of Nigeria. Past and present APC-affiliated presidents and vice presidents also form part of the caucus. Additionally, serving and former governors, along with various zonal representatives, are members.
