The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced new dates for its National Caucus and National Executive Committee (NEC) meetings. These key party gatherings were initially scheduled for December 15–16, 2025. The party has now shifted them by a few days.
According to an official statement, the National Caucus meeting will now take place on Thursday, December 18, 2025, at 6:00 pm. Following this, the NEC meeting has been rescheduled for Friday, December 19, 2025, at 3:00 pm.
The statement did not specify the reasons for this change in schedule. However, it confirmed that both crucial meetings will be held at the esteemed Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
The party emphasizes that all members are duly invited. This aligns with Articles 12.3 and 13.3 of the APC Constitution. These articles clearly outline the composition and importance of these vital party organs.
The National Caucus is a high-level body within the APC. Its members include the President and Vice President of Nigeria. Past and present APC-affiliated presidents and vice presidents also sit on the caucus. Serving and former governors, alongside zonal representatives, complete its esteemed membership.
