Afro-gospel singer and songwriter Akinade Ibuoye, popularly known as Gaise Baba, has announced the death of his father.
His father passed away on Saturday, November 22. The time of death was 7:31 p.m. This sad event occurred exactly seven months and seven days after his mother’s passing.
Gaise Baba shared the news. He noted the heavy emotional toll of these two losses in quick succession. Despite their grief, the family remains steadfast in their faith.
The singer released an official statement. It confirmed the passing of his father, Prince (Barr.) Ezekiel Gbadebo Ibuoye. He was also known as the Ààrẹ Apọ́nlẹ́sẹ̀ of Okemesi Ekiti.
The statement conveyed a message of faith. It declared, “No guilt in life, no fear in death.” The family expressed gratitude to God amidst their sorrow. They yielded to Him despite the pain of physical separation.
Akinade Gboluwaga Ibuoye, the son, made the announcement. He shared it on behalf of the Gbadebo Ibuoye family.
Gaise Baba gained renewed public attention earlier this year. This was after his successful rework of “No Turning Back.” He featured Minister Lawrence Oyor on the track.
