AFCON 2025: How Football Fans Can Get Free E-Visas for Morocco Tournament
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) and the AFCON 2025 Local Organising Committee have unveiled free electronic visas for supporters attending next year’s tournament in Morocco. This initiative simplifies entry procedures for international fans.
Streamlined Visa Access
Announced on November 14, 2025, this policy benefits citizens from countries requiring Moroccan visas. Fans can now obtain electronic visas at no cost through the official YALLA application. This applies throughout the tournament period from December 21, 2025, to January 18, 2026.
Mandatory Requirements for Fans
All visitors must secure two essential documents: a Fan ID and an e-visa. The Fan ID grants access to stadiums and official fan zones. Both documents can be applied for simultaneously within the YALLA app. This integrated system ensures efficient processing.
Enhanced Fan Experience
CAF emphasized the app’s seamless verification process. It prioritizes security while accelerating approvals for international visitors. Once approved, supporters may purchase match tickets through CAF’s official platform.
This visa-free initiative reflects Morocco’s preparedness to host thousands of football enthusiasts. It marks the country’s first AFCON hosting since 1988. The tournament will feature 24 teams across nine stadiums in six Moroccan cities.
Tournament Significance
AFCON 2025 returns to North Africa after nearly four decades. It promises world-class facilities and showcases emerging African football talent. The e-visa program aims to create a frictionless experience for global fans attending Africa’s premier football event.
