The National Working Committee (NWC) of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) has affirmed the expulsion of Hon. Leke Abejide. The decision, initially made by the Kogi State Executive Committee, stems from various acts of indiscipline.
The ADC NWC announced this development after its meeting. The meeting took place at the party’s National Headquarters in Abuja on Thursday.
The party reiterated its strong stance against indiscipline. It aims to build a political organization founded on discipline, character, and integrity.
In addition, the ADC leadership directed state chapters to fill all vacant positions. This includes roles at ward, local government, and state executive levels. These appointments must follow approved transition guidelines. The party will soon announce timelines for upcoming congresses.
Hon. Leke Abejide represents the Yagba Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives. He had previously rejected the ADC leadership led by former Senate President David Mark.
