The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has officially confirmed match schedules, venues, and kick-off times for the 2026 FIFA World Cup African Qualifiers Inter-Continental Playoff. The decisive tournament will be hosted in Morocco from November 13 to 16, 2025.
Rabat will stage the four-nation event featuring Nigeria, Cameroon, the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), and Gabon. The semi-finals take place on Thursday, November 13 across two venues in Morocco’s capital.
Semi-Final Fixtures and Venues
CAF will conduct a draw on October 30 to assign stadiums for the semi-final clashes. The matches will be split between Rabat’s El Barid Stadium and Prince Moulay El Hassan Sports Complex:
- Nigeria vs Gabon kicks off at 17:00 local time (16:00 GMT)
- Cameroon vs DRC follows at 20:00 local time (19:00 GMT)
Championship Final Details
The playoff final is scheduled for Sunday, November 16 at Prince Héritier Moulay El Hassan Stadium. Kick-off is set for 20:00 local time (19:00 GMT).
Victory in this tournament secures Africa’s final slot in the FIFA Inter-Continental Playoff scheduled for March 2026. The ultimate winner will earn qualification for the expanded 2026 World Cup across the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
