Yul Edochie, the Nollywood actor and filmmaker, has finally broken his silence regarding the recent allegations made by Judy Austin’s former husband, Emmanuel Obasi, about access to their children.
Taking to his verified social media platforms, the controversial star dismissed claims that he is blocking Obasi from seeing his biological kids.
According to Edochie, he decided to speak out after a flood of direct messages from fans urging him to allow the children’s father access.
“It Has Nothing to Do With Me”
In a blunt statement, Edochie distanced himself from the ongoing custody drama, accusing critics and clout‑chasers of using his household’s name for financial gain and social‑media engagement.
He recalled fans pleading, “Please let him see his children,” and stressed that he has never prevented anyone from seeing their offspring, lamenting that many prefer chasing clout rather than doing the right thing.
The actor emphasized that any arrangements concerning the children should be handled directly between Obasi and Judy Austin, noting that he should not be dragged into the equation. He concluded, “Tell him to call his ex‑wife; if he wants to see or take the children, let them discuss it. He has her number. This has nothing to do with me.”
