Harry Kane Warns PSG Will Be a Tough Challenge for Arsenal in Champions League Final
Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane has warned that Paris Saint‑Germain (PSG) will be a difficult opponent when they face Arsenal in the Champions League final this weekend.
Arsenal arrive full of confidence after clinching their first Premier League title in 22 years under manager Mikel Arteta.
However, they face a stern test against a PSG side aiming to retain the trophy they won last season.
Speaking ahead of the showdown, Kane said Arsenal have displayed enough quality this season to be considered among Europe’s strongest teams.
The England captain added that PSG’s status as reigning champions makes them a dangerous foe.
“PSG are obviously reigning champions so of course they’re a difficult team to beat but I think Arsenal have shown this year that they can be one of the best teams in Europe, for sure,” Kane told Sky Sports.
“It will be an interesting final; we’ll have to see what happens.”
Arsenal’s appearance in the final marks another major step in their progress under Arteta, who has turned the side into one of Europe’s most competitive outfits.
The North London club will be looking to crown an impressive campaign with the biggest trophy in European club football.
Victory would also see Arsenal become European champions for the first time in their history, adding to the optimism already surrounding the club after their domestic success.
PSG, meanwhile, will be determined to prove their dominance on the continent by winning the competition for a second consecutive season.
The French giants enter the final with experience, quality and the confidence that comes with being defending champions.
With both sides chasing history for different reasons, Saturday’s clash is expected to be one of the biggest fixtures of the European football season.
