Popular Nigerian artist Martins Okechukwu Justice, known professionally as J Martins, miraculously survived a terrifying auto accident. The singer, who also serves as Senior Special Assistant to Abia State Governor Alex Otti on Tourism and Entertainment, escaped unharmed when his vehicle suddenly veered off the highway.
The incident occurred when Martins’ car experienced complete brake failure. This caused it to plunge into thick roadside bushes at high speed along the busy Enugu-Aba-Port Harcourt express road.
Miracle Escape
Speaking to ABN TV, an emotional J Martins described the survival as divine intervention. “It’s only God that will be praised,” the musician stated, confirming that nobody sustained injuries despite the severity of the crash.
Martins reassured fans about his wellbeing, explaining he’s undergoing precautionary medical examinations. “My car failed brake and lost control. No one died. But I am running some scans at the hospital,” he confirmed.
Musical Legacy
The artist, who maintains a relatively low media profile recently, rose to fame with hit tracks like “Oyoyo,” “Jupa,” “Good Or Bad,” and the chart-topping “Cool Temper.” He also famously collaborated with defunct duo P-Square on their popular track “E No Easy.”
