Chief Priest Opens Up on Burna Boy Clash
Nigerian entrepreneur and celebrity barman Chief Priest has revealed that his recent fallout with Afrobeats star Burna Boy was sparked by his close friendship with Davido.
During an interview, Chief Priest recounted how he built his career from an apprenticeship through years of hard work, noting that success often invites envy and criticism.
He said Burna Boy took to a large social media platform and posted false statements aimed at discrediting his wealth, explaining that the attack was motivated by his association with Davido.
Chief Priest emphasized that Davido has consistently backed his ventures, opening his nightclubs and restaurants and showing up to support him whenever needed.
He added that he is now creating music to prove his own artistic abilities, while continuing to benefit from Davido’s encouragement.
