The party also announced retired military officer Aminu Bande as its senatorial candidate for Kebbi Central, while former Deputy Comptroller‑General Ibrahim Muhammad Mera will contest for Kebbi North. Garba Danjuma Limi has been named the ADC senatorial candidate for Kebbi South.

ADC said it remains committed to delivering purposeful leadership, justice, security, good governance and sustainable development for Kebbi State and Nigeria. It urged members and supporters to stay united and determined ahead of the 2027 polls, expressing optimism that the party will build a more prosperous future for generations to come.
Legal Context and Related Development
Although Malami is currently facing trial, he has denied any wrongdoing, describing the case as a political witch‑hunt. In a related move, ADC has declared former Rivers State Secretary to the Government Gabriel Pidomson as its governorship candidate in Rivers State, after he won the party’s primary with 112,068 votes, defeating four other aspirants across the 23 LGAs. Pidomson, an Ogoni indigene from Gokana LGA, previously served under Governor Sir Celestine Omehia.
