Adegboyega Adegoke Emerges as ADC Governorship Candidate for Oyo State 2027
An Ibadan chief, Oloye Adegboyega Adegoke, has been declared the winner of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) governorship primary in Oyo State. He secured 16,051 votes, defeating four other aspirants and positioning himself as the party’s candidate for the 2027 general elections.
Primary Election Results and Vote Breakdown

He emphasized the need for unity and collective effort to win the forthcoming governorship election, stating, “I am ready to work with everybody. We will work together.
