APC Postpones Kwara Governorship Primaries to Friday
The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship primary election in Kwara State has been moved to Friday after logistical issues delayed the original schedule.
Reason for the Postponement
Senator Musiliu Obanikoro, chairman of the APC governorship primary committee, announced the change while speaking to journalists at the party secretariat in Ilorin. He said the postponement was necessary to address logistical challenges and to ensure a fair, well‑managed election.
“We postponed the election due to logistic issues. We came in late and we needed to be fair to all and to be able to have an effective management of the election, we needed a full day to do that.”
