The Confederation of African Football has officially released Nigeria’s squad numbers for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
Key Players Retain Iconic Numbers
Star striker Victor Osimhen will continue wearing his familiar number 9 shirt. Newly appointed captain Wilfred Ndidi maintains his customary number 4 jersey.
Lazio midfielder Fisayo Dele-Bashiru receives the prestigious number 10. Regular starters Ademola Lookman, Samuel Chukwueze, and Frank Onyeka retain numbers 7, 11, and 8 respectively.
New Invitees Assigned Numbers
Recent call-ups Salim Fago, Ebenezer Akinsanmiro, Ryan Alebiosu, and Tochukwu Nnadi will wear numbers 25 through 28.
