Born in London on September 5, 2008, Ezenwata boasts a mixed heritage. His mother is Cameroonian, and his father is Nigerian. He joined Chelsea from Charlton Athletic during his Under-15s season. Since arriving at Cobham, he has quickly risen through the youth ranks. He is now considered one of the club’s brightest prospects.
Impressive Achievements at Club Level
After signing his scholarship contract earlier, Ezenwata swiftly became a key player for the Under-18s this season. He currently leads their scoring charts with an impressive 11 goals across all competitions. His talent also saw him make his Under-21s debut last season. That match was against Manchester City. He has also featured twice in the EFL Trophy this campaign.
On the European stage, Ezenwata has been part of Chelsea’s UEFA Youth League squad. He made his debut under Calum McFarlane in a 3-1 victory over Atalanta. He also proved crucial in the FA Youth Cup.
