President Bola Tinubu spearheaded the National Caucus meeting of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Thursday. The gathering occurred at Abuja’s State House under the chairmanship of APC National Chairman Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda.
Prominent attendees included Chief of Staff Femi Gbajabiamila, Senate President Godswill Akpabio, and House Speaker Abbas Tajudeen. APC governors, National Working Committee members, and National Assembly principal officers also participated.
Former Vice President Yemi Osinbajo joined the assembly alongside PDP defectors. New APC members include Governors Douye Diri (Bayelsa), Peter Mbah (Enugu), Siminalayi Fubara (Rivers), Umo Eno (Akwa Ibom), Sheriff Oborevwori (Delta), and Kefas Agbu (Taraba).
Former Anambra Governor Chris Ngige attended shortly after bail approval. The Federal High Court in Abuja released him regarding ongoing ₦2.2 billion contract fraud allegations.
