TikTok content creator Elizabeth Amadou, widely known as Jarvis, has publicly confirmed the end of her relationship with fellow influencer Hamzat Habeeb (Peller). Her announcement comes amid widespread reactions to Peller’s recent car accident during a live broadcast on Lagos’ Lekki-Epe Expressway.
Emotional Appeal Against Online Mockery
During a live video stream, Jarvis addressed the online commentary surrounding both the crash and their relationship status. She urged Nigerians to cease mocking Peller during this difficult period. “People will mock him – stop mocking him, stop shading him,” Jarvis implored, emphasizing that public ridicule worsens an already painful situation.
Clarifying Relationship Status
The influencer confirmed their separation was intentional. “The relationship thing is over for now,” Jarvis stated, clarifying this wasn’t abandonment but necessary space for healing. She described Peller as “a sweet guy” while acknowledging his emotional struggles. “He cannot control his emotions – that’s the core problem.”
Jarvis emphasized the priority should be supporting Peller’s wellbeing. “Let’s put our heads together to help him become better,” she said, explaining that breakups sometimes stem from needing clarity rather than hatred.
Peller’s Distressing Livestream Incident
The confirmation follows Peller’s emotional live broadcast where he appeared visibly distressed in his Mercedes-Benz. During the stream, he made alarming statements including “I will use this car and have an accident right now” and “If you break up with me, people will be mocking me… I’m going to kill myself.” Moments later, his vehicle veered off the road and collided with a barrier.
Bystanders assisted Peller after the crash before he was hospitalized. Jarvis concluded her appeal by focusing on gratitude: “All you people should be saying is thank God for life. Thank God nothing happened to him.”
