Moshood Adeoti recently hosted Governor Ademola Adeleke. The former Osun State Government Secretary welcomed top Accord Party and state government leaders. The meeting took place on Thursday evening at Adeoti’s Iwo residence.

Earlier, Adeoti met with a women’s group. He is a former ally of ex-governor Rauf Aregbesola. Adeoti praised women’s crucial role in voter mobilisation. The women responded with political songs. These songs openly supported Governor Adeleke.
Governor Adeleke then thanked the women. He later joined them in a dance. This happened amidst lively political songs.
Following the reception, Alhaji Adeoti and Governor Adeleke held a closed-door meeting. They were joined by several key officials. These included the Deputy Governor and Hon. Kazeem Akinleye, Chief of Staff. Hon. Teslim Igbalaye, Secretary to the State Government, was also present. Other attendees were Hon. Kolapo Alimi, Information Commissioner. Dr. Biyi Odunlade, Political Affairs Commissioner, was also there. Hon. Muniru Raji, the Governor’s political adviser, and other functionaries completed the group.
Neither Adeoti nor the Governor’s team addressed the public. They made no statements after the meeting concluded.
This meeting follows Adeoti’s recent political shift. He recently left the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
