Popular content creator Habeeb Hamzat, widely known as Peller, has addressed a recent development. He responded to TikTok’s temporary restriction on night-time livestreaming in Nigeria. Peller confidently assured his fans that this change would not affect his earnings.
This new update prevents users from hosting or watching livestreams during late hours. TikTok is currently reviewing its content and safety measures.
The platform’s decision stems from growing concerns about explicit content. TikTok is committed to fostering a safer online environment for its users.
Peller discussed the restriction in a video shared on Monday. He reiterated that it would not leave him financially vulnerable.
He clarified that his income sources extend beyond TikTok gifts. Peller proudly earns millions of naira from various brand endorsements.
The influencer also noted that creators frequently give back to their community. They often engage their fans through generous giveaways.
Peller further highlighted TikTok’s strong potential. He described it as a robust platform for young creators to achieve rapid online growth. This, he noted, is particularly true when compared to other social media platforms.
However, Peller also issued a warning. He suggested that smaller creators might be more affected by the restriction. These individuals often rely on night-time LIVE sessions for essential exposure and income.
Speaking directly about his financial stability, Peller stated, “People expect me to cry after TikTok banned live in Nigeria. They mistakenly think I will go hungry. I am an ambassador for numerous brands. None of my endorsements are less than N40 million.”
He continued by emphasizing TikTok’s role in creator development. “Many people will achieve significant growth on TikTok. Growing on Instagram is not the same process. You typically need to post much more content there. TikTok offers a distinctly easier path to growth.”
