She revealed a personal detail. After her first child was born, she bought herself a ring. This was to “look like a married woman.” She removed it just before her partner proposed.
“I had to appear like a married woman. So, after my first child, I bought my own ring. When he decided to propose, I took it off,” she explained.
The woman spent months living with her future mother-in-law. Eventually, she received permission to reside with her husband-to-be.
