Super Eagles midfielder Fisayo Dele-Bashiru is back. He has rejoined Lazio’s Serie A squad. This follows his recovery to full fitness.
Dele-Bashiru, 24, was sidelined in September. He picked up an injury during the Derby della Capitale against Roma. His absence led to Elseid Hysaj being drafted into the squad.
The former Sheffield Wednesday star has played only four league games this season. However, he is expected to feature. Lazio will visit AC Milan at the San Siro on Saturday.
Osimhen Donates ₦5 Million for Cancer Treatment
In other news, Super Eagles star Victor Osimhen is receiving widespread praise. He donated ₦5 million (approximately £4,500). This donation supports the breast cancer treatment of Aunty Esther. She is a popular online food vendor and X personality.
Osimhen, who plays for Galatasaray, offered help. This followed a heartbreaking video of Esther Omolola Mensah. She was seen crying in agony from her hospital bed. The clip showed severe cancer damage to her chest. It quickly went viral, sparking concern among her followers.
Osimhen’s donation on Wednesday is the largest single contribution to date. Aunty Esther publicly expressed her gratitude. She wrote, “Thank you, Uncle Victor Osimhen. God bless you abundantly.”
The striker is also dealing with his own injury setback. He missed Galatasaray’s 1-0 Champions League loss to Union Saint-Gilloise on Tuesday. However, he is expected back for their derby clash. Galatasaray will face Fenerbahçe on December 1.
