President Bola Tinubu has appointed Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State. He will serve as the pioneer Renewed Hope Ambassador.
Bayo Onanuga issued a statement. He is President Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy. Governor Uzodimma has a new role. As ambassador, he will also be Director-General. This role covers Party Outreach, Engagement, and Mobilisation.
The appointment takes immediate effect. Governor Uzodimma will now lead efforts. He will work with APC leaders and governors. Their goal is to promote the Tinubu administration’s programs.
As Renewed Hope Ambassador, Uzodimma has more duties. He also chairs the Progressive Governors Forum. He will ensure harmony within the party. Inclusiveness and strategic coordination are also key. These apply across all party levels. He will also mobilise and engage citizens.
He will collaborate with other APC governors. They are also ‘Ambassadors of Hope’.
President Tinubu expects much from Uzodimma and his colleagues. They must promote APC’s achievements. These date back to 2023. Their work will reinforce the ‘Renewed Hope’ message nationwide.
President Tinubu sent a message. He wants Nigerians to know about his administration’s achievements. Governor Uzodimma must ensure this understanding.
