British heavyweight Moses Itauma has strongly warned Jake Paul. He called Paul’s upcoming fight with Anthony Joshua “suicide.” Itauma urged the American to reconsider. He wants Paul to walk away before it is too late.
Itauma, an unbeaten 20-year-old prospect, spoke during a livestream. Over 50,000 viewers tuned in. He did not hold back his strong opinions.
“Jake, please reconsider. This is suicide,” Itauma declared. He added that Paul “has no idea what’s coming.” This will happen when Paul faces a seasoned, two-time world champion.

Itauma has sparred with Joshua multiple times. He predicted “the scariest knockout you’ve ever seen.” He warned that the YouTuber-turned-boxer will face unprecedented power.
Joshua has achieved 10 knockouts in 10 professional bouts. Itauma stated that Joshua hits “three times harder” than any opponent Paul has faced. He even offered to spar Paul. This would “show him real power,” Itauma added.
The young heavyweight questioned the value. Would the payday be worth it? He asked if Paul would remember his own name after the fight.
Former WBA champion David Haye also expressed concerns. He urged promoters to cancel the fight. Haye worried about Paul’s safety.
The Confirmed Bout and Fighters’ Stances
Despite these warnings, the fight is confirmed. The eight-round heavyweight bout will happen at the Kaseya Centre in Miami. It will stream live on Netflix. This marks Joshua’s return to the U.S. Experts project it as one of his career’s biggest paydays.
Their initial face-off in Miami showed a clear physical contrast. Joshua stands 6-foot-6. He towered over the 6-foot-1 Paul. Paul, however, maintained his trademark bravado.
“I just have to avoid that one shot for eight rounds. I believe I can do that,” Paul stated. He also declared readiness “to die in the ring” for victory. Paul has even mentioned targeting Tyson Fury next.
Joshua responded with a cold promise of his own. “If I’m going to be honest,” he said. “I’m going to break his face. I’m going to break his body up. I’m going to stomp all over him.”
