A Nigerian farmer recently voiced her anguish online. Her cousin was abducted during a harrowing Kwara church attack.
Gistreel previously reported this incident. Heavily armed assailants stormed the Christ Apostolic Church in Eruku, Ekiti Local Government. This occurred on the evening of Tuesday, November 18, 2025.
During the service, the attackers opened fire. Three worshippers died. A vigilante also sustained injuries.
Security operatives confirmed these casualties. They recorded at least two deaths and one injury. The culprits fled through nearby bush paths.
Relative Shares Abduction Ordeal
The farmer, identified on Facebook as Adesola Yinka, stated her cousin was among the kidnapped churchgoers.
Her viral post revealed a distressing detail. Her cousin was taken along with her baby.
The post read, “My cousin was among the abducted from CAC church by bandits in Ekuru. She’s with her baby.”
Meanwhile, another Nigerian man shared good news on X (formerly Twitter). He confirmed his grandmother’s safety after the terrifying Kwara church raid.
An online video showed the elderly woman. She was seen shuffling out of the Christ Apostolic Church in Eruku. He confirmed she was not among those kidnapped during the incident.
“They didn’t kill my grandma,” he wrote. He also added a tearful emoji.
