Noted Nigerian rapper and activist Folarin Falana, known as Falz, has urged President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to step down. This call follows a recent bandit attack. The incident occurred at Christ Apostolic Church, Oke Isegun, Eruku, Kwara State.
Falz expressed his demand via an X post. He criticized the President’s perceived failure. This failure concerns protecting national lives and properties.

Falz Condemns Tinubu Amid Rising Insecurity
Tribune Online reported the incident. The Kwara State Police Command confirmed it. The attack took place at 6 p.m. on November 18.
Security personnel and local vigilante groups confronted the assailants. They successfully repelled the attack.
Witnesses stated the armed group invaded the church during service. They killed at least one person. Several worshippers were then abducted. The attackers subsequently fled the area.
Rapper Voices Outrage Over Persistent Attacks
Falz reacted with deep frustration. He cited growing insecurity. He also mentioned the government’s slow response.
He questioned how many more innocent Nigerians must suffer. This is before concrete action is implemented.
His statement read: “How many more individuals must face abduction and cold-blooded murder?” “How many additional lives will be squandered?” “How many more futures do you aim to destroy through incompetence and inaction?”
Falz asserted the President showed an unwillingness to protect citizens. This is despite previous pretenses of concern. He concluded his message with a strong call for Tinubu’s resignation.
He stated: “You have repeatedly demonstrated an inability to protect our citizens’ lives and property.” “This is despite past claims of empathy.” “Resign now!”
